Through the presentation of live performances and culinary delights the Festival of the celebrates the culture of the rapidly growing Salvadoran community of New Jersey. Through the combined efforts of various sectors of the West New York community, such as local businesses, non-profits and residents, the Festival of the Pupusa encourages neighborhood social and economic strengthening and development that benefits all community members and served as a model for similar municipalities.

As a result of the Festival’s success, each year a portion of the proceeds are channeled to a worthy cause. This year, we have the honor to assist a school for students with disabilities in an urban area of El Salvador.
